The service is available to all Syriatel postpaid and prepaid subscribers
You should have an MMS enabled handset that is able to send and receive multimedia messages
In order to activate this service, all you need to do is to call the customer service line at 111 from any Syriatel line, or 093222111 from any other line.

How to use Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS)?
1.Your handset should be MMS enabled.
2.Setup your handset, taking into consideration the following:
a. Access Point Name (APN): mms.Syriatel.com
b. Internet Protocol (IP) address: 172.020.005.006
c. URL address: http:/mymms.Syriatel.com/
d. Save settings that are specific to your handset which you can access by contacting the customer line or as listed on the web page http://www.syriatel.com/products/pro.htm

What is the cost?
Cost of each MMS message vary according to its destination and size.
Cost of local MMS which size between 1 to 90 kilobyte is 10 S.P. as for MMS which size between 91 to 150 kilobyte is 20 S.P.
While cost of international MMS which size between 1 to 90 kilobyte is 20 S.P. as for MMS which size between 91 to 150 kilobyte is 40 S.P.
The maximum size for sending MMS is 150 KB

How can I know if my mobile handset supports MMS?
Go to your mobile handset's Main Menu.
From your handset's main menu, go to Messages.
If the Messages list includes Multimedia Messages, then your handset is MMS enabled. Otherwise, it is not.

What happens if I send an MMS to another mobile handset that has no MMS settings enabled?

If the receiving mobile handset is not MMS enabled or did not go through the required MMS settings, a text message will be sent instead that contains a pin code as well as the URL address (http://mymms.Syriatel.com) at which the MMS message will be displayed.Only picture contents of the MMS can be displayed through the website, other type of contents can not be displayed.
